Day 01: Arrive Rome
Welcome to Italy the Land of the Mystique! On arrival in Rome, you will be privately transferred to the hotel. Check in and relax. Rome comes alive at night and you should not miss the opportunity to see its most beautiful monuments illuminated. In the evening we recommend you to opt for a panoramic Rome Illuminations tour which starts at around 1900 hours. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Rome
Wake up to an early breakfast this morning as its time for your hop on hop off tour to enjoy Rome’s most famous sights. In the afternoon get ready to visit the richest country in the World – the Vatican. Enjoy the tour of the treasures of the Vatican, including the Sistine Chapel, the Vatican Museum where you'll be shown a fine collection of antiquities, the fascinating Tapestry Gallery etc. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03: Rome
Today the day is free at leisure.
Today we strongly recommend you to opt for a full day excursion down to Naples, Capri and Anacapri. This tour will give you an opportunity to visit the world famous Blue Grotto on own. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04: Rome – Florence (1.5 Hrs by Train)
Following breakfast this morning its time to check out of the hotel and make your way to the station to take a train to Florence. Upon arrival please make your way to the hotel and check in. Florence is a lovely city famous for its wine growing Tuscany Region. In the afternoon take the tour to Pisa which gives you an opportunity to take in some wonderful scenery en route to the historic university town, most famous for its Leaning Tower. Your tour returns to Florence later in the evening. Relax and spend a nice quiet evening here. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05: Florence
After breakfast, we suggest you to take the morning city tour of Florence, where you will drive along the romantic Viale dei Colli up to Piazzale Michelangelo: a stop to admire the wonderful panorama of the city. You will also see the Duomo complex, Giotto’s bell tower, the Baptistery with its bronze doors, the Cathedral. A short walk through the historic streets of the heart of Florence brings you to the renowned Galleria dell’ Accademia where you can admire the famous David by Michelangelo and other works by the great artists. The tour ends inside the museum. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06: Florence – Venice (2 Hrs by Train)
Post breakfast travel to the most romantic city of the world. Upon arrival please make your way to the Hotel. Check in and the rest of the day is free for you to relax and explore this really unique city on water. Later in the evening you can opt for a gondola ride, cruising through the Grand Canal. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 07: Venice
Wake up to breakfast this morning. Today the morning is free at leisure; you can opt for the morning walking tour covering the San Marco area where you will see the stunning Basilica of San Marco. Later in the afternoon proceed for your 3hours island tour. You will witness how the beautiful colored glass is made in Murano Glass making factory, then on to the pretty islands of Burano, famous not only for its lace but also for the fishermen's houses painted in bright colors and Torcello, the earliest centre of civilization in the estuary. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 08: Venice –Lucerne (6.5 Hra by Train) (7.20 AM Via Milan)
Wake up to a very early breakfast as its time to head to the train station in a private vehicle to catch your train to Lucerne which is 6.5 hrs away with a train change at Milan. On arrival into Lucerne, make your way to the hotel. Check in & relax.
Relax and later in the afternoon you could either walk around the city OR opt for the 40 min train ride covering the Chapel Bridge, the town square, the Lion Monument and much more, or visit the Swiss Museum of Transport which has been voted the most popular museum and theme park for the whole family in any weather.
The rest of the evening is free for you to walk around the city and later tonight we recommend you to enjoy authentic Swiss dinner and music at the Stadtkeller dating back to the 12th century. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 09: Lucerne – Mt Titlis - Lucerne
Today you visit the glacier paradise Titlis offering an eternal snow and ice experience on the highest viewpoint in Central Switzerland all year round. Ascending the world’s first revolving gondola Rotair is like being an eagle. You change 3 different cable cars to reach the peak where you can enjoy a pizza at the highest Pizzeria in the world and much more. The ice flier is a big hit with the family. With loads to do at the peak, more than half a day is a must. Return back to Lucerne later in the afternoon or early evening and spend the rest of the time at any of the restaurants dotting the city or just walking along the lake. Spend time at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10: Lucerne – Interlaken (2 HRS)
Wake up this morning following which its time to take the train to Interlaken. Upon arrival make your way to the hotel and check in. Later in the evening we suggest you to make your way to the Harder Kulm, which is celebrating 100 yrs of Swiss Tradition this year. Enjoy a romantic evening there with aperitif served specially for you. If you arrive here on a Thursday evening, you can also enjoy some traditional Swiss music. The trip up the mountain in the funicular is quite spectacular. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 11: Interlaken
Following breakfast this morning its time to head to the station and head off to the Top of Europe – to the Jungfraujoch. Snow and ice is guaranteed 100% round the year. Upon arrival at the top, you can walk around on the glacier; spend time in the Sphinx there looking at all the peaks around you. On a clear day you can see as far as the Mont Blanc (of France) !, visit the Ice Palace and finally enjoy a hot meal in the restaurant there. Later in the afternoon take the train back to Interlaken and the rest of the evening is free for you to either walk around town, shop at Bucherer or any of the shops there else depending on the day of the week, you could also enjoy a Dinner cruise on the lake. For those who would like to gamble away, the famous Casino Kursaal awaits you. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 12: Interlaken
Wake up to breakfast this morning following which its time to make a trip to Schilthorn by the cable car. Your first stop is the car free village of Murren where we recommend you get off, enjoy a cup of coffee and then proceed up to the peak. This is also the place where the famous James Bond movie was shot. You can enjoy some continental or Indian food at the 360 degree revolving restaurant up there. Later in the evening its time to return back to Interlaken but a strong recommendation is a stop at the Trummelbach Falls en route. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 13: Interlaken – Paris
Your Swiss holiday comes to an end today as you pack, check out of your hotel and make your way to the train station to capital of Haute Couture. Upon arrival into the train station, we suggest you hail a taxi and get transferred to your hotel. Check in and relax. Overnight stay at the hotel
Day 14: Paris
Following breakfast it’s time for you to see and explore Paris at your pace armed with the Paris one day Hop On Hop Off pass. A ticket for you to visit to the Montparnasse Tower is included as it is at one of the stops of the Hop On Hop Off route and the view from here will definitely blow you off your feet! Enroute the Hop on Hop pass a must visit is the Grevin Wax Museum - Discover a legendary site of entertainment and illusion, in the heart of Paris. Be a star for a day, get near famous people and discover new faces at the famous Paris Wax Museum. Continue to spend your time shopping at any of the great shopping malls like the Galeries Lafayette for the best in haute couture and places that give the word shopping a completely new meaning. The day terminates with you visiting the Moulin Rouge, the original cabaret of Paris. Overnight stay at the hotel
Day 15: Paris
A fun filled day for the kids as you are taken to Disneyland Paris which is about an hour away from the city of Paris. Here you get the opportunity to visit the Disneyland Park which is the magic world where you will meet all the Disney characters who live in an endless fairy tale and Walt Disney Studio Park where you go behind the scenes of the movies, cartoons and TV shows. Disneyland Paris has many different attractions for tourists to experience with its top attractions being It’s a Small World, Space Mountain: Mission 2, Big Thunder Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Buzz Light year Laser Blast and many more. Truly a fun filled day for the families. Return back to Paris in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel
Day 16: Depart Paris
Today its time to say au revoir to this marvelous country, as you head to the airport to take your flight home. Hope you have had a great holiday!!
